Yaskawa Solectria Solar offers a variety of classroom in person training opportunities for you to learn more about our PV inverter products. Our classroom trainings allow solar professionals to actively participate and interact with our knowledgeable Product Training Engineers who are specialists in their field. This highly skilled team provides first-hand knowledge and expertise about the Yaskawa Solectria Solar products and industry topics. Class sessions are always NABCEP accredited and CEUs vary depending on the topic/time.

SOLECTRIA ® XGI 1500 HANDS - ONTROUBLESHOOTING

This class is designed for field technicians and engineers who need to know the safest and most effective process of troubleshooting a Yaskawa Solectria Solar XGI 1500 Solar Inverter. The student will learn parts replacement, inverter programming, inverter communications, safety, and troubleshooting of both the communications and hardware. Students successfully completing the class will be able to provide Levels 1 and 2 servicing.

CLASS FORMAT
This 3-day class runs Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day with a one-hour lunch (supplied by YSS) and two 10-minute breaks. The class consists of approximately 50% lecture and 50% hands-on exercises. To provide the best learning experience for the attendee, there is a maximum of 6 students per class session. Please note that attendees are also responsible for their own travel arrangements, hotel and any incidentals incurred during the training program.

PROGRAM INCLUDES:
Once registered, your training session includes lunch and am/pm breaks during the training days and specific class materials. Students will receive a copy of the class training manual, as well as selected product user and instruction materials in electronic format.

Highlights: I've been with Yaskawa for 22 years, where I started as a Strategic Account Representative for the Switch division then transitioned to the Motion and Drives Inside Sales shortly after. In 2003, I transitioned into the role of Technical Support Engineer Apprentice and since then have been in a leadership role for the Technical Support Group since 2017. 

Did You know:  I have been married for 22 years. Together we have a 22-year-old daughter who is currently working full time and attending college. I have two stepdaughter's ages 34 and 28, and between the two of them, I have a granddaughter and three grandsons. I'm an avid cyclist. Some of my cycling accomplishments are touring around Puerto Rico. The tour was a three-day, 375-mile ride around the coast. I have also completed five rides across Wisconsin (225 miles in one day).
